Be revealed May 6 2011 on the App Store, « ELLE AIME LA MODE » was a wonderful app using all the technical resources of iPad, immersing ourselves in the world of fashion : workshops of luxury in 360°, history of fashion design with Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Lacroix, tomorrow’s Top Model, … This application has been made to present the engagement of ELLE for young creators.

« ELLE AIME LA MODE » enthusiastically supports the new wave of fashion designers who boost their energy fresh and irresistible.

« ELLE AIME LA MODE » is the great publishing project and events of 2011, punctuated by several actions:

The commitment of ELLE magazine to young designers has been presented by Valerie Toranian (Editor-in-chief) in association with Frederic Mitterrand (Minister of Culture and Communication) and was provided the means which helped them turn their ambitions into reality.

The work of nine young artists has been exhibited in the windows of the department. 

The first promotion of New Talent was selected by an independent panel of personalities from the French fashion houses as well as industry professionals and distribution.

To provide assistance in creating projects, ELLE magazine offer to the creators  : 
– a fund set up by the Ministry of Culture and Communication providing loans for the creation.
– a place for young designers. 
– a help by members of the selection committee and the editorial support of ELLE.

ELLE Fashion Factory in partnership with BrandAlley :

In this virtual store, users can discover new talents and elect their favorite creators. The creators winning the most votes will produce their first Collection. Everyone can invest in young talent and get parts almost unique. One can also find the acclaimed creators by the editor.

In May 2011, ELLE magazine celebrate « ELLE AIME LA MODE  » : 

– May 6 , published of special issue. Our magazine was presenting the great family of fashion: those who imagine, those who create, those who make it ! A portfolio featured artists, muses, models, artisans …

– May 7, at the Fine Arts, ELLE magazine and the Minister of Culture and Communication presented the first-class of New Talent of fashion in 2011 to the press.

– May 20, was published our great series of fashion made ​​with our readers, through France from February.
